ACI launched the Emerging Professionals Leadership Program (EPLP) in 2014 to help grow a leadership pipeline and ensure a strong future for Indiana's agribusinesses. The EPLP is a one-year program that provides substantive discussions on some of today's most critical issues and introduces class members to key industry and policy leaders. The feedback from our alumni and their employers about the program has been exceptional....
"I wanted our Emerging Professional to have exposure to areas in agriculture that he would not have in his current job... He has gained significant background knowledge and built strong relationships with other class members. He continues to make comments in our business that you can tell he gleaned from the Emerging Professionals program."

"This experience has introduced me to other professionals in our industry - through my classmates and our speakers. I plan to be more active in my local civic groups to be the 'local' face of our industry. I'm also excited to be more active in ACI. Thanks for starting this GREAT program!"

Participants selected through the application process are expected to attend six class sessions, and the class will also have the opportunity to participate in an ACI Board of Directors meeting. We will also make a trip to Washington, D.C. for class members to learn about the federal policymaking process and the politics that affect agribusiness. The 2019 classes include:
Each session will provide class participants with an up-close view of Indiana's agribusiness community and an opportunity to hear from and meet key leaders across the sector. This program provides a great opportunity to network with other ag professionals AND a chance to learn about important issues to our agribusiness sector.
