We are pleased to announce that ten applicants recently submitted their requests to be considered for the Agribusiness Council of Indiana scholarships. After deliberation and review, the ACI Foundation is pleased to announce the following recipients by scholarship:
The 2017 John Anglin, Jr. Scholarship is being awarded to Haley M. Fulk. Haley recently graduated from Lowell High School in Lowell, Indiana with honors. Her father, Gary Fulk, is Retail Manager for Ceres Solutions. In the fall, Haley will be attending Purdue University majoring in Animal Agribusiness. Haley noted in her application that while at Purdue, she wants to strive to make a difference in the agriculture industry she is so passionate about. Her goals are lofty and we wish her all the best. The 2017 Boese Memorial Scholarship is being awarded to Sydney Leigh Briel. Sydney graduated from Valparaiso High School in Valparaiso, Indiana with honors. Sydney’s father, David, is a key account manager with Bayer CropScience. She will be attending Purdue University in the fall focusing on the Food Science Program. It is clear that she has a deep-rooted love for agriculture and we look forward to seeing what her future holds. Congratulations Sydney!
The 2017 Larry Foster Scholarship is being awarded to Cody Colbert. Cody graduated with distinction from Tri-Central High School in Sharpsville, Indiana. His father, Dave Colbert, is a Technical Agronomist for Monsanto. Cody just completed his first year at Purdue University with his major course of study being Agribusiness/Agronomy. He is extremely involved in Purdue’s many organizations and activities besides being an excellent student. We wish you all the best in the future, Cody!
